What do you know about Axsain?
Zacin cream is a topical cream that contains capsaicin, which is the active ingredient derived from chili peppers.
How Axsain Works
Capsaicin in Zacin cream works by desensitizing nerve endings. Initially, it may cause a burning sensation, but with continuous application, the receptors become less responsive to pain signals, leading to a reduction in pain perception. It is typically applied to the affected area three to four times a day
Usage Instructions
- Application: A small amount of cream (about the size of a pea) should be rubbed into the skin of the affected area until it is no longer visible.
- Hygiene: Hands should be washed immediately after application, unless the hands are the area being treated
- Warnings: Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and broken skin. Hot baths or showers should be avoided immediately before or after application to reduce discomfort
Side Effects
Common side effects include:
- Temporary burning or stinging upon application, which can be more intense if applied frequently or in larger amounts.
- Irritation of the eyes or airways due to vapor from the cream
Precautions
It is important to follow a doctor’s instructions when using Zacin cream. The cream is not suitable for use on broken skin or for children, and its safety during pregnancy or breastfeeding hasn’t been fully established, so consulting a healthcare provider is advisable
